Australia,Me & Art Gallery,Japanese Gay Art Exhibition,Do You Like Men?
Due to popular demand, Boom Promotions is pleased to rejoin Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras to present “Do You Like Men?”, an exhibition of brand new works featuring the male form by Japan’s leading male erotic artists as part of the Mardi Gras 2012 Cultural Festival.
Boom Promotions trading under the name
works by the crème-de-la-crème of the Japanese gay art scene to give Sydney a rare
glimpse into the lives and fantasies of gay men in Japan. From the fun and cute to
the downright disturbing, each of the works presented gives a beautiful and unique
perspective to this largely unknown world.
Connoisseurs of Japanese gay art will be pleased to see never before seen works by
masters such as Gengoroh Tagame and Jiraiya as well as images from such up and
coming new artists as Yuichi Shinohara and many others created specifically for this
exhibition. Also on display will be a new work by the illusive illustrator Kumagoro,
famous for his work appearing in Samson magazine.
With close to 100 works on offer, “Do You Like Men?” is sure to offer something for
any lover of the male form. A comprehensive catalogue of all artists featured will
also be on sale at the gallery.
